MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) was awarded a Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. He released his debut long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. This album peaked at eight on the Top Latin Albums charts. He then joined Ozuna for the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He was a part of the team alongside Noriel for Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He in the year following, he came out with his second album, the charting Dopamina. In 2021 he recorded the duet to TINI's smash song Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo was raised in a music-oriented environment because both his mother and older brother are professional musicians. According to Turizo, music was a fundamental element of his existence. When he was a kid playing the guitar ukulele and the piano. His initial goal was becoming a vet, the brother Julian convinced him to take singing classes with a Cuban teacher. The end outcome of discovering his talents as a performer changed the direction of his life.
