Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is the Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since her teen years she has been at the edges of both traditional and popular music. In addition, she plays with genres like hip-hop trap, and soul. Pepe Habichuela Flamenco guitarist who is renowned for her talent, described her voice saying that it was sweet and had an old-fashioned bite. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention as well as a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded the Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The album was released in March 2022 after the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the show. Along with taking home three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
